Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Khatadar (खातादार) at khatadar.com, including the website and installed app. By creating an account you agree to them.

Khatadar is operated by Shaiban Sarfraz Shaikh (Proprietor), an MSME registered under Udyam Reg. No. UDYAM-MH-33-0844529, at 203, Sahil Faraz, 100 Feet Road, Mira Road East, Thane, Maharashtra 401107.

1. Your account

• You must give correct details and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for everything done from your account, including by staff you add.
• You must be 18 or older and use Khatadar only for lawful business.

2. Your business data

Bills, parties, items and khata entries you add belong to you. We store them only to run the service. You can download a full backup anytime from Utilities.

3. GST and tax responsibility

Khatadar helps you calculate GST and prepare reports and e-invoice/e-way bill files. You remain responsible for checking figures and filing returns correctly. Please confirm with your CA where needed.

4. Plans and payment

• The Free plan has limits shown on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed yearly by UPI and are active for one year from approval.
• Plans do not auto-renew. We will remind you before expiry.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

5. Fair use

Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service, or access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that misuse it.

6. Availability

We work to keep Khatadar running at all times, but there may be short breaks for maintenance or network problems. Offline bills sync when you reconnect.

7. Liability

Khatadar is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the new date here. These terms follow the laws of India; courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
